Tube Compatibility
The guide accepts round tubes 20-47 mm in diameter and non-round seatposts with a cross-section height of up to 65 mm. Check the tube shape and dimensions against the detail images before choosing an option.
Adjustment and Mounting
Press the quick-release button to slide the clamping screw up or down, then tighten it to secure the tube. The handle can be repositioned. Clamp the guide in a vise, or fasten it to the side of a wooden board with screws. Align the cut mark with the saw guide slot before cutting.
Saw Blade Setup
For standard hacksaw blades, fit one 1.2 mm spacer plate. For saw blades designed to cut carbon components, fit two spacer plates with a total thickness of 2.4 mm. Use a blade suitable for the material being cut.
Dust Extraction
The dust extraction version uses removable magnetic front and rear covers with soft brushes around the tube opening. Remove the covers to align the cut, then refit them and connect a suitable vacuum hose. The illustrated hose connectors include 31 mm outside-diameter tapered or elbow connectors and a 38 mm inside-diameter straight or tapered connector. Compare connector dimensions with the detail images. A separate vacuum cleaner is required and is not included.
Option Selection and Included Parts
RL365-1 and RL365-2 are complete guide options. RL365-3 is a replacement guide plate set, and RL365-4 is the dust extraction attachment; neither is a complete cutting guide. The dust extraction parts are 3D-printed plastic, so visible layer lines and seams are normal. Only the selected tool or accessory shown in its option image is supplied. Saws, vacuum cleaners, vises and bicycle components shown in demonstrations are not included. Dimensions and weights are approximate.
