The RISK RL249 Bicycle Crank Cap Tool Series is designed for precise removal and installation of crank arm caps on compatible bicycle cranksets. This product includes two available options: the RL249 2-in-1 Crank Cap Removal Tool and the RL247 3/8″ Ratchet Wrench.

The RL249 2-in-1 Crank Cap Tool features a dual-end design for two common crank cap interfaces. The 4-pin side is suitable for DUB crank caps, while the 11-tooth spline side is designed for Shimano XTR M9100 series crank caps. Made from lightweight aluminum alloy, the tool is compact, durable and easy to carry in a workshop or travel tool kit.

The tool can be driven by a standard 3/8″ ratchet wrench from either side, and it is also compatible with an 8 mm hex wrench, giving mechanics flexible options for removal and installation. Clear directional markings on the tool body help guide correct operation.

The optional RL247 3/8″ Ratchet Wrench is recommended for use with the RL249 tool. Its ratcheting mechanism allows smoother operation, while the ergonomic handle provides better grip and control during bicycle maintenance.

This series is ideal for bike shops, professional mechanics and home riders who need a clean, efficient solution for servicing DUB and XTR M9100 crank caps.
