The RISK DH-552 / DH-562 Bicycle Headset is designed for frames with 44mm upper head tube and 55mm or 56mm lower head tube specifications. It is suitable for both straight steerer forks and standard tapered forks, making it a practical headset replacement or conversion option for many MTB and bicycle frames.

Made from 6061 aluminum alloy, the headset features CNC-machined parts, anodized black finish, laser-engraved RISK logos, and sealed cartridge bearings for smooth and quiet steering performance. The split crown race design allows easier installation and can be used with both 30mm straight fork crown race size and 39.8mm tapered fork crown race size.

Please note: 44-55mm and 44-56mm versions are not interchangeable. Measure your frame head tube carefully before purchase.

How to Choose the Correct Headset

1. Remove the original headset cups if needed.
2. Measure the inner diameter of the upper head tube.
3. Measure the inner diameter of the lower head tube.
4. Measure the fork steerer:
   • Upper steerer is commonly 28.6mm
   • Lower crown race area may be 30mm or 39.8mm
5. Choose:
   • DH-552 for 44-55mm
   • DH-562 for 44-56mm
