The RISK RL309 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Funnel Adapter is a practical tool for servicing Shimano road hydraulic disc brake systems. It allows Shimano MTB bleed funnels, commonly used for DEORE, SLX, XT and XTR brake systems, to be connected to compatible Shimano road STI hydraulic brake levers.

With an M7 × P0.75 external thread and M5 × P0.8 internal thread, this adapter provides a secure connection between the bleed funnel and the road brake lever bleed port. The upgraded RL309 version is suitable for a wider range of Shimano road hydraulic shifters, including R7020, R7120, R8020, R9120, R7170, R8170 and R9270.
