How to Use

1. Remove the crank arm from the bottom bracket spindle.
2. Insert the compatible bottom bracket removal socket onto the bottom bracket cup.
3. Install the RISK RL215PRO retaining bolt through the socket and into the bottom bracket spindle thread.
4. Tighten the retaining nut lightly to hold the socket in place.
5. Do not fully tighten the retaining nut — leave a small gap so the socket can rotate smoothly.
6. Use a wrench to turn the BB removal socket and remove the bottom bracket.
7. After loosening the bottom bracket, remove the retaining bolt and socket.

Removal Direction Reference

For many traditional bottom bracket systems:

• Drive side / chainring side: usually loosens clockwise
• Non-drive side / crank side: usually loosens counterclockwise

Thread direction may vary by bottom bracket standard. Always confirm the correct removal direction before applying force.
